Where have I been you ask? *lmao* I do believe this has been one of the most hectic years of my life. We have spent every weekend the past six months trying to find a house to buy so we can move back home and be closer to our family. The way the economy is right now and home prices falling, nobody wants to put their homes on the market, so our search will continue.
I spent the most part of this year going to doctors for my back and neck pain. I was referred to a specialist who referred me to a Spine specialist doctor. I went through two series of spinal injections to see if that would give me some relief. It may have a tiny bit, but not enough relief for me to go through the injections again, so I'll just try and learn to live with it for now.
On August 25, 2008 was my Mother's birthday, the family got together to take her out for dinner at O'Charley's, my sister and BIL were in town and went along with both my kids, Megan and Losa. I think Mom really enjoyed herself and was glad to have all of the family there with her. The next morning, August 26, 2008, Mom was scheduled to have surgery on her legs to help unclog the arteries in both of them. She was wanting to have cataract surgery on her eyes and this had to be done first. She did very well through her surgery and was recovering at a good rate, then they told us she was getting pneumonia and she caught a staph infection. Mom was so terrified that she would catch that and had my Uncle George to pray with her the night before her surgery. On September 7, 2008 we lost our Mother. There is an empty spot in my heart and I miss her so very much. I didn't know that it would be this hard to not have her in my life. I have her on my mind constantly and the holidays are going to be so very sad without her with us. I see her pretty smile on her face each time I think of her and would give anything to tell her that I love her one more time. You are very sadly missed Mom.....I Love you so much....
